So for now my Volante GAS has subsided and I'm sticking with El Cap. on November 4, 2020, in Yosemite National Park, and the afternoon sun is blasting the south-facing Golden Gate route on El Capitan. This campground is a result of the fact that more people than ever are trying to free climb El Cap via the Salathé Wall and all its variants. Though Volante has more options regarding speed manipulation and more, it can't be done ( by foot) without the Multiswitch Plus, which is both an additional expense and for me as it stands would not fit on my board. A big part of that is manipulating the speed by moving the time knob with my foot. I have the SOS mode selectable by the favourite switch on EL Cap and I use it quite extensively to create abstract loops for intros/ outros, segues etc. The wood-paneled walls are adorned with a motley mix of sports posters, photos, newspaper. Stepping foot inside El Cap is like going back in time.
It currently comes in three color choices and two sizes: Size 1 (52-57 cm) and Size 2 (56-61). This family-owned, no-frills restaurant is the go-to spot when you want to enjoy the best burger in town while watching the big game.

The one issue that made me pull away from getting the Volante for now though, was the inability to control the speed of the 'tape' with your foot wihout the additional MultiSwitch Plus ( or by getting into MIDI controllers). The Mammut El Cap is made with a hard plastic shell with an EPS liner. However- as I tend to do before a purchase- I spent a lot of time researching the pedal and though I was still- and still are- very excited about the additional possibilities, I did start to think that there were aspects of the El Cap that were still simply better, some of which gave been covered in this thread. However, I had a severe bout of GAS when Volante was released and following a bit of reorganisation, I very nearly pulled the trigger on the Volante last week.
